A safe place for young people who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation or are active in addressing the issues in their communities.
It is important that this forum be a safe place for everyone.
The International Centre to Combat Exploitation of Children will host discussions on related topics such as prevention, intervention, services and what you can do to be involved in combating the commercial sexual exploitation of children and youth in your communities.
To make this forum as safe as possible, a few ground rules:
- Do not give personal information about yourself over the Internet (including history of abuse, telephone number, etc.)
- ICCEC does not encourage young people to tell their story or disclose abuse as part of forum discussions. If you are being hurt and need help or need information about where you can get help please contact us directly or call someone in your immediate community. As we grow, we will try to post information about services in communities across Canada and the United States.
- There is zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. If you feel you are being harassed, please contact the forum directly. This means no name calling or judgment of one anothers views or experiences, including no sexual harassment, no racism, no homophobia, and no enquiries about personal experiences, identification, or personal information.
- Please be kind to each other even if your views do not agree with anothers.
You will have to register to use the forum. When you register for the forum you will be asked to sign an agreement that you will follow the ground rules.
